Russian lashes, also referred to as volume-lashes involve an advanced application technique, whereby much thinner in weight lashes (0.05g-0.07g) are joined together into a fan (1 fan per natural lash). Your lash technician will plan in advance how many individual lashes ‘per fan’ you desire, depending on suitability. The results provide maximum volume, that’s fuller & more dramatic than individual lash styles.
This lash-style applies uses a technique is performed using lash fans of between 2 to 6 ultra-thin eyelashes joined at a base, applied one fan per natural lash i.e., between 2-5 lashes per single natural lash. Whilst, the ‘Hybrid’ lash style technique uses a combination of single faux lashes & Russian fans, added to as many natural lashes as required, to achieve the desired style. Either style can deliver varied degrees of volume, but if you’re seeking the most volume possible then Russian style is best. However, if you’re seeking a slightly more conservative appearance or simply desire more dimension to your style, Hybrid or Soteria lash-styles would come out on top.
